Last summer vacation, I went on a trip to Beijing. It was a city that I had always longed to visit. I was filled with excitement and anticipation as I embarked on this adventure.

When I arrived in Beijing, I was immediately struck by its grandeur and history. The first place I went to was the Forbidden City. Standing in front of the magnificent red walls and yellow tiles, I felt as if I had traveled back in time to an ancient dynasty. I walked through the halls and courtyards, imagining the lives of the emperors and their courtiers. The architecture was truly breathtaking, and I couldn't help but be amazed by the craftsmanship and attention to detail.

二、探索古迹

The next day, I visited the Great Wall. It was a sight to behold. As I climbed up the steep steps, I could feel the history and strength of this ancient wonder. The view from the top was simply spectacular. I could see for miles and miles, and the surrounding mountains added to the beauty and majesty of the scene. I took many pictures and tried to soak in every moment.

After that, I went to the Summer Palace. The gardens and pavilions were so beautiful and peaceful. I strolled along the paths, enjoying the fresh air and the scenery. There were many tourists, but it didn't take away from the charm of the place. I also visited the Temple of Heaven, where I witnessed the ancient rituals and ceremonies. It was a unique experience that gave me a deeper understanding of Chinese culture and history.

三、感受现代北京

In addition to the historical sites, I also got to experience the modern side of Beijing. I went to Wangfujing Street, which is a bustling commercial area. There were shops, restaurants, and cafes everywhere. I tried some local food and did some shopping. It was a great place to people watch and soak up the atmosphere.

I also visited the 798 Art District. It was full of creativity and innovation. There were galleries, studios, and exhibitions showcasing the works of local and international artists. I was inspired by the art and the unique
